3 Hotel Options In Miraflores

Miraflores Park

Without a doubt, Miraflores is my favorite place to stay in Lima. It has great access to shopping, dining, culture, nightlife, and features beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. Here are my 3 favorite hotel choices. I've included a 3-, 4-, and 5-star option.

  • Casa Andina Private Collection Miraflores (***). This hotel is perfectly located, just 2 blocks off of Parque Kennedy, which is the perfect spot to get a taste of what life in Lima is like. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and won't break the bank. It features a full service spa, pool, restaurant, and cafe. Plus, it is only 10-15 minutes walking distance from Larcomar and the Malecon (boardwalk). Website
  • JW Marriott Lima (****). I usually avoid staying at franchise hotels while visiting unique places. I mean, why stay in an American-style hotel room while visiting a foreign country with culture and uniqueness? Normally I would agree with you, but this property is actually a phenomenal choice for Lima. It is right on the Malecon (boardwalk), across the street from Lima's premier shopping/dining area. The rooms feature gorgeous views of the Pacific. Skip the restaurants because you're within walking distance of a plethora of options. Website
  • Belmond Miraflores Park (*****). This hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and you pay for it. Located 3 blocks from Larcomar, this hotel is right next to a beautiful Lima park in the Miraflores neighborhood. The pool on the top of the hotel is unique and features incredible views of the Costa Verde. Everything you would expect for 5 stars and it has the perfect touch of Peruvian culture. If budget isn't an issue, book here. Website

The beauty of traveling to Peru is that there is something for everyone, and that doesn't just go for hotels. Whether you're a Foodie, history buff, backpacker, jet setter, humanitarian volunteer, student, or anything else, Peru has something to offer. While visiting Lima, make sure you visit Miraflores. Choose from one of my favorite hotels above or find one on your own, it doesn't matter. The true treasures of Lima will be found outside the hotel room. Get exploring.

Saludos...
