Peru’s first time at the London Fashion Week

(Peru This Week) - “Mozhdeh Matin”: is a Peruvian entrepreneur and designer who brought to London her collection “Rural/Invierno 2016”. Under the brand name Mozh Mozh, the collection aims to reflect a fusion between Andean designs, an elegant and a minimalist approach.

The young Peruvian-Iranian designer told El Comercio that her work is considered “contemporary” and has been receiving very good feedback.

Matin’s designs are shown at the Somerset House from February 17. It is an honor for her and Peru to be selected by the British Council and to take part in such an important event like The London Fashion Week that reunites the most famous designers in the world.

Her work is at the Next in Line sector of the IFS, a great location as she is among designers from all around the world (Uruguay, Holland, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Indonesia, Switzerland and Zimbabwe).

She claims that there is a very collaborative environment at the event, where each designer shares the same values: to work with native designers and show their heritage to the world.

The Lima Fashion Week will be held early April 2017.
